We are looking for a hands on, dynamic and passionate Floor Manager to join our fantastic team at The Fat Badger. 

Our Floor Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day management. Working closely with the General Manager you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

  • Salary - £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + service charge (Earn an extra £12,000 per annum )

What you'll be doing as a Floor Manager:

  •  Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.   
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, while staying within budgeted labour costs.
  • Actively support and collaborate with the General Manager and marketing team to implement promotional strategies and enhance the venue visibility in the local community. 
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, control labour costs, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability. 
  • Ensure the restaurant complies with all conditions of the license, policy and legislation, including health and safety, and maintains a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor quality, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction, working closely with the team to maintain high standards and support your team during a busy service.

About you, our new Floor Manager:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Ideally have previous experience in a high end venue or fine dining.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests. 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
