Head Sommelier

We are looking for a talented and charismatic Sommelier to join the team of our fantastic restaurant.



As Head Sommelier you will be expected to assist the Head Sommelier with all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and private dining room. As Sommelier you will recommend and sell wines to our customers that will complement their tastes and menu choices. Engaging with customers is essential therefore a passion for delivering the highest levels of service is essential.

We are ideally looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Sommelier within a high quality, destination restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and provide charismatic and engaging service
• Possess as a minimum WSET Level 2 or equivalent Sommelier qualification
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
• A keen interest in food with an understanding of food product knowledge being an advantage but not essential
