Hourly Assistant General Manager - Keke's Breakfast Cafe
Are you an operational maestro ready to lead a high-energy, a.m. style eatery alongside a General Manager? We're seeking an ambitious and experienced Hourly Assistant General Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Keke's Breakfast Cafe. This is a leadership role where your efforts directly impact our success, from the quality of our food to the excellence of our coffee and bar program.
The Role: Operational and Beverage Program LeadershipThe Assistant General Manager will be instrumental in achieving our defined objectives across various critical areas. You will manage and lead the daily operations, ensuring exceptional standards in sales, cost management, team performance, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
A key component of this role is the collaboration with the General Manager in overseeing and leading the coffee and alcoholic beverage bar program.

Operational Management | Oversee and coordinate planning, organizing, training, and leadership to meet all cafe objectives. |
Sales & Costs | Drive sales growth and effectively manage costs to ensure profitability. |
Team Leadership | Lead training and mentorship for staff, focusing on retention and performance. |
Guest Experience | Ensure the highest levels of guest service and satisfaction. |
Cleanliness & Quality | Maintain excellent food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation standards. |
Bar Program Oversight | Collaborate with the General Manager to lead the coffee and alcoholic beverage bar program. |
Bar Inventory & Purchasing | Manage bar inventory, oversee purchasing, and lead new product development. |
Bar Staff Management | Handle scheduling and performance oversight for bartenders. |
Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume breakfast/a.m. style establishment.
Strong background in managing food and labor costs.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of coffee and alcoholic beverage bar programs, including inventory, purchasing, and staff management.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required in a breakfast/brunch environment.
Must be or become ServSafe Manager Certified.
