Covelli Enterprises is now hiring an Entry Level Maintenance Technician - Company Van Provided!

Hiring Immediately!! We are looking for a Full-time Maintenance Technician to support our Panera Bread locations in the Columbus Market.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Support Panera Bread stores with repair or maintenance questions and requests.
  • Utilize and update e-Maintenance (Facility Maintenance Platform) to ensure efficiency within the Maintenance Department.
  • Maintain restaurant equipment, troubleshoot and repair as required. Replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Manage trades as needed for larger repairs, HVAC, Electric, Plumbing, Painting, etc.
  • Manage external service providers to ensure scheduled maintenance is performed timely.
  • Assist in compiling data for company-wide projects.
  • Visit stores for troubleshooting equipment
  • Assist with delivery of equipment and supplies as needed to specific locations.
  • Attend new store openings as a support member; cross train to learn store operations and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in minor electrical and plumbing (1-2 years a plus).
  • Experience with welding, electronics, tile, drywall repair or painting is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Competent knowledge of use and care of tools and equipment used in facility maintenance environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Background check required.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must be 21 years or older
