Description

Social media coordinator creates and maintains a strong online presence for all 50 Eggs social properties. The role is to implement digital media strategies through social media accounts. A Social media coordinator will develop original content strategies and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand in addition to increasing web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. This position will work closely with the Director of Digital to spearhead the development of the most suitable digital strategies, content creation, and distribution of unique and engaging content to support global digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Director of Digital Marketing
  • Researches audience preferences and stays up to date with current social trends
  • Has a strong background in content creation/production within the Hospitality field.
  • Knowledgeable in content production and editing. 
  • Development of content strategy based on platform and audience to support marketing roadmaps and KPIs.
  • Experience with camera equipment & editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, After Effects, among others.
  • Create engaging text/copy writing, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Supports the expansion and setting SOPs to implement best Influencer Strategies throughout the calendar year and deep social engagement, monitoring and customer growth strategies 
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness within the foodie and lifestyle industries.
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Reports on reviews/comments from various social media outlets
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
  • Establish reporting methods to track ROI and other KPIs throughout the digital space for 360 campaigns
  • Planning and management of the quarterly and yearly calendars and digital plans for the brand based on events, PR & marketing campaigns, holidays and new location openings
  • Supports Content team in the planning, production and execution of social/digital assets

 

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years’ experience in social media, copywriting, marketing, or relevant course work
  •  Strong communication and copywriting capabilities
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to generate unique and creative ideas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of social platforms and digital scheduling platforms
  • Comfortable with an SLR/iPhone camera and an eye for creating quality, multi-use content
  • Hospitality and/or Restaurant industry experience is a plus
