Baker Assistant
Please note this role involves a mixture of shifts at Birley Bakery + our production kitchen based near Battersea
Birley Bakery and The Chocolate Shop are are owned and operated by entrepreneur Robin Birley. They are located in Chelsea Green, London and have a warm and welcoming environment, inspired by the classic concept of Boulangerie-Patisserie. We aim to fulfil the need of every household craving exceptional quality, delivering simple, homely yet chic bread, pastries, desserts, chocolate and ice cream.
We are currently looking for a Baker Assistant to join our talented team!

The responsibilities of our Baker Assistant are:
- Responsible for proving and baking on site of the bread & pastries, and any products decided by the Executive Chef.
- Responsible for the preparation of savoury items and sandwiches
- Ensure the products are of the highest quality
- Managing food and stock rotation.
The Experience & Qualifications required of our Baker Assistant are:
- Previous experience working in a hospitality environment is required.
- Experience of working in a similar role and fast paced environment.
Working Hours:
- This role will require a minimum of 3 days per week at our production site in Battersea
- On a rota basis 5 days out of 7
- Shifts from 4am
