Baker Sous Chef
Production Site (SW8)
5 Hertford Street is the beautifully appointed private member's club owned and operated by entrepreneur Robin Birley; located in the heart of Mayfair. Our aim is to be a home away from home, in the utmost comfort, where members are looked after by a team who know them by name.
We are currently looking for Baker Sous Chef to join the brigade at our state of the art, exceptionally equipped production kitchen located near Battersea.

Working hours:
- Straight shifts, up to 48 hours a week
- Working hours ranging with shift starts from 1am -4am
What you will do:
- Working alongside our Head Baker, assisting with managing and mentoring a team of up to 8 people.
- To ensure that all the products are baked and presented to excellent quality
- Managing food and stock rotation, following our recipes and SOP’s in place
- Organising mise en place, and the team accordingly to the business needs
What are we looking for?
- Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member’s club advantageous
- Previous experience in the same role is essential, within a similar environment
- Experience in Viennoiserie production, lamination and bread shaping.
