We’re looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our family at Jersey Mike’s Subs. As a Store Opener & Prep Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in setting the day up for success—prepping fresh ingredients, opening the store, and creating an amazing experience for every guest.

Shifts & Pay

• Shift Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (truck delivery days) / 6:00 AM start on other days

• Availability: 5 days per week, including weekends (rotation Monday–Sunday)

• Guaranteed Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hour (base pay $13.00–$14.00/hour + tips — if tips don’t get you there, we make up the difference)Growth: Raises and promotions encouraged based on performance

Key Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the store for daily operations

• Prep fresh ingredients daily (produce, meats, cheeses, bread, cookies, brownies, bacon, tea, chips, etc.)

• Make subs the Mike’s Way® — slicing, grilling, wrapping, and expediting

• Operate the register and deliver friendly customer service

• Receive and organize truck deliveries

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

• Assist with training new team members

• Support inventory, cash management, and basic facility upkeep

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old (to operate slicer equipment)

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Available for early mornings and weekends

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and coachable mindset

• Desire to grow with the company and take on leadership opportunities
