Hourly Restaurant Manager / Manager in Training

PG1 Restaurants is looking for Hourly Restaurant Managers and Managers in Training to join the Jersey Mike’s family at our 5th Street location in Charlottesville, VA!

We’re looking for dependable, positive, hardworking individuals who are ready to lead by example, take ownership, and help build a strong team.

Whether you have previous restaurant management experience or are ready to take the next step in your leadership career, we want to meet you!

As an Hourly Restaurant Manager or Manager in Training, you’ll play an important role in leading the team, delivering an outstanding guest experience, and keeping restaurant operations running smoothly.

• Lead and support the team throughout daily operations and shifts.

• Keep the team organized, motivated, and focused during busy periods.

• Follow and uphold company policies, procedures, Core Values, and operating standards.

• Hold yourself and the team accountable to expectations.

• Ensure every sub is made correctly, including Mike’s Way.

• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and excellent guest service.

• Support labor management, cash handling, inventory, and operational goals.

• Coach, train, and mentor team members to help them succeed.

• Handle guest concerns professionally and find solutions.

• Lead by example and protect and promote our culture.

• Help create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

• For Manager in Training candidates, learn all areas of restaurant operations and develop the skills needed for future management opportunities.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Open availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Previous restaurant leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Reliable, dependable, and committed to doing things the right way.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work alongside the team and lead by example.

• Coachable, motivated, and eager to learn.

• Ability to take ownership, solve problems, and hold yourself and others accountable.

• A desire to grow, develop, and take on greater leadership responsibility.
