The Role

We're looking for fun, enthusiastic, passionate people to join our hard-working team here at The Chequers Inn, Lytchett Matravers. 

You will prepare delicious meals according to our implemented specs, cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and within a timely delivery.

Experience disirable not essential as training can be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

·       Prepares food to specification guide

·       Prepares food before the arrival of guests

·       Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy

·       Adjusts food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns

·       Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature

·       Operates various kitchen appliances

·       Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference

·       Assists other cooks during the food assembly process

·       Ensuring high food hygiene standards

·       Clean down area after service

·       Stock management

·       Any other duties as required
