ABOUT US

We have recently opened an exciting new restaurant at 74 Duke Street in Mayfair—an elegant, thoughtfully designed space offering exceptional cuisine and warm hospitality from morning through night. As part of this ambitious new venture, we are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen team.

This opening marks the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, the group behind a portfolio of globally recognised food concepts including NAC, Le NAC Cafe, Crème, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality is known for blending creativity with operational excellence to deliver outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets.

At 74 Duke, you’ll be part of a new flagship concept—working alongside passionate chefs and contributing to a dynamic, high-performing kitchen at the forefront of London’s culinary scene.

POSITION SUMMARY

As Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of culinary operations — from daily service and team management to menu development and kitchen culture. You’ll bring creativity, precision, and a hands-on approach, helping to set the standard for quality and consistency throughout the brigade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead kitchen service with confidence and calm, ensuring smooth operations at all times

  • Support the Head Chef in managing the full kitchen team, rota, and daily prep

  • Uphold high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across all sections

  • Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating junior chefs to foster growth and consistency

  • Monitor and control food costs, ordering, and waste management

  • Contribute to new menu development, seasonal specials, and dish innovation

  • Ensure all food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are met and maintained

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef in a high-end, high-volume kitchen

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Calm under pressure, with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude

  • Strong understanding of kitchen financials, food margins, and health & safety compliance

  • A genuine passion for food, people, and delivering outstanding guest experiences
