The Commis Chef plays a key supporting role within the kitchen team, assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and learning fundamental culinary techniques.
This role is ideal for a chef at the beginning of their culinary career who is eager to learn, grow, and be mentored by senior kitchen professionals in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking under the supervision of the Chef de Partie and senior chefs.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all food preparation areas.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients and products.
Support with setting up and cleaning down your section before and after service.
Follow all kitchen procedures and health & safety regulations.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and take on feedback for continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
