The Hospitality General Assistant / Casual Event Worker responsibilities will include:
• Ensure the timely delivery of food and refreshments to areas around the Mercedes Campus.
• Serving and cleaning of the dining rooms.
• Assisting the supervisor with the delivery of 5 star standard service in all areas.
• Serving all customers in a friendly and polite way.
• Assisting in the clearing down of meeting rooms.
• Ensuring that all areas are set up to the highest standard, with particular attention to presentation.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the all food service areas.
• Adhering to the dress code and other standards.
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by management from time to time.
• To ensure all guests are treated in a professional way that reflects both Absolute Taste and the Mercedes Groups exceptional high standard of ‘Customer Service’.
• Ensuring, following and achieving the Absolute Taste quality and style with regard to food and service delivery.
• Assisting the kitchen in the safe and efficient transportation of food from the kitchen at any given time
It would be essential for the candidate applying for the Hospitality General Assistant to have the following skills:
• Previous waiting experience.
• Ability to think on their feet and work alone.

Desirable skills:
• Experience in a contract catering hospitality environment.
• Understanding of 5 star service.
• Experience in large corporate events and conferences.
