We are looking for a passionate and conscientious Café Assistant to join our great team!

The role of Café Assistant includes:

·       Greeting customers

·       Taking orders quickly and accurately using our POS

·       Food and drink service

·       Running orders from the kitchen to the tables

·       Maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant and clearing tables

·       Barista coffee duties

·       Preparing coffee and other hot and cold drinks

·       Till duties

·       Take payments

·       Restocking fridges and confectionery stands

·       Following opening and closing checklists accurately

·       Following food safety regulations

We do require you to have:

·       Great customer care skills

·       Ability to work as a team

·       Good communication skills

·       Ability to work under pressure and prioritise

·       Work on a ‘clean as you go’ basis

The Role:

·       £9.50 to £10.42 per hour (depending on experience)

·       The shifts will be usually Monday to Friday, between the times of 08.30 and 17.30 (variable shifts)

·       Flexibility will be required to work weekends on occasion

·       There will also be the possibility of working on some of our many varied events.
