The Role
We're looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team and support the General Manager in the running of the business. You will be fully responsible for cashing up, training, and helping develop the identity of the venue. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue and directly supervise all Duty Managers and team members, guiding them in operating their departments / responsibilities when on shift.
Essential skills and attributes for the job
- You must have a genuine love for live music and bar service.
- Take a proactive hands-on approach to driving your business forward.
- Bags of energy.

The Abbey Tavern is a popular spot on Kentish Town Road, known for its lively atmosphere and delicious food. Besides the cosy pub interior there is a beer garden and a large roof terrace, both perfect for the summer but equipped with heaters and coverings for the winter. The drinks menu includes everything you would want from a good pub as well as a selection of cocktails. Our function rooms are great for any kind of event especially with the outdoor spaces. Whether you head down for a burger during a quiet weekday or join the party on the weekends there is something for everyone.
