Job Purpose

The Stores Supervisor supports the operation ensuring F&B suppliers and processes are managed correctly and that stock holding is correct for the level of business.  The Stores Supervisor will oversee the ordering, receiving, rotation and issuance and movement of stock across the site, working closely with the Heads of Department to ensure goods and equipment is readily available.  The role is hands on, and suits candidates who are physically fit and relish a role that involves a lot of manual handling.

Duties and responsibilities

 Forecasting stock needs with Heads of Department
 Ensuring orders are correctly placed with suppliers and that orders are properly fulfilled
   Overseeing goods in procedures, including HACCP checks
   Ensuring PO, Delivery Note and Invoicing match process is completed properly
   Following through with corrective actions for any incomplete / failed delivery 
   Ensuring suitable stock levels are maintained and that items are stored correctly, with proper FIFO rotation
 Ensuring monthly stock takes are completed accurately and in a timely manner
   Managing inventory records
 Carrying out any other duties as required by the management
 Following food safety procedures
 Following all company processes and procedures
 Representing the company to highest standards possible and always striving for perfection

Work Experience

 Minimum 2 years’ hospitality industry experience
 Working is similar catering operations

Skills Required

 Very good spoken English, moderate – high written English ability
 Hands on, hard working in a physical environment
 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
 Good communicator and team player

Qualifications

 Diploma, undergraduate or graduate certificate is preferred
