The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our fantastic restaurant team!

We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant & Bar Manager wanting to deliver first-class restaurant experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness center.

As the Restaurant & Bar Manager you will…

• Assist the Operations Manager and deputize during their absence
• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations in the Restaurant and Bars outlets
• Manage supervisors and associates to achieve departmental targets
• Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
• Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
• Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely
• Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
• Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
• Embrace the Marriott culture

A successful Restaurant & Bar Manager is someone who…

• Can communicate clearly (verbal, listening, writing)
