About the RoleAs Front Office Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring the team delivers seamless, friendly and professional service at every guest interaction. You’ll be a visible leader in the lobby, supporting your team, engaging with guests and ensuring every stay reflects the standards of the Marriott brand.
Working closely with the hotel leadership team, you will drive guest satisfaction, maximise revenue opportunities, and develop your team to achieve both personal and business success.
What You’ll Be DoingLeading and inspiring the Front Office team including supervisors, receptionists and night team
Delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring Marriott brand standards are consistently exceeded
Managing the day-to-day front desk operations including arrivals, departures, reservations and night audit procedures
Monitoring guest feedback, resolving concerns professionally and turning challenges into memorable service moments
Analysing financial and operational reports to improve performance and drive results
Managing labour productivity, scheduling and departmental budgets
Collaborating with Sales, Revenue and Housekeeping teams to maximise occupancy and guest satisfaction
Coaching, training and developing team members to reach their full potential
Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures and operational standards
We’re looking for someone who combines strong operational knowledge with a natural ability to lead and motivate others.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in a Front Office leadership role within a hotel environment
Strong leadership and team development skills
A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience with hotel property management systems
The ability to analyse operational and financial performance
A proactive, organised and hands-on approach to leadership
