What more could our guests want than outstanding service, a clean comfortable room and delicious food and drink? It will be your job to make sure they get even more from their event with us. Proactively promoting all the options open to them, as well as being on hand to answer any questions about our hotel and services, you’ll make sure they know about everything they could wish for – and more. You’ll help create the warmest welcomes and most memorable events that keep them coming back again and again. 

Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders
  • Put together information packages, brochures and other promotional materials
  • Help plan the event or wedding from start to finish – really focusing on the clients needs
  • Use sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
  • Being creative with themes and giving clients ideas on how to make their special day perfect
  • Bringing the clients ideas to life and ensuring they have an amazing event
  • Promote awareness of our brand image internally and externally
  • Look for new business opportunities and potential revenue increases/up sells
  • Be one point of contact for clients and guests, responding quickly to questions about hotel facilities and services
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales and Marketing team and other events such as meetings when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
