Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day financial operations. Working 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and general financial administration. This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time position in a dynamic and growing organisation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices.

  • Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments

  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly account reconciliations

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems (physical and/or digital)

  • Help prepare financial reports and assist with audits

  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial queries

  • Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring

  • General administrative support to the finance team


Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role

  • Familiarity with accounting software 

  • Strong Excel skills and general proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
