Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Provide general club orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, gym and pool
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest and member with a smile, eye contact and a friendly welcome, using their name when possible
  • Carry out regular Health & Safety checks, pool testing, sauna and steam room checks
  • Process new members sign ups
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation, gym, locker rooms, poolside, sauna and steam room
  • Dispose of rubbish and dirty linens in the correct area
  • Clean and stock supplies and amenities in the locker rooms
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, support with first aid if required
  • Monitor the pool area and ensure users are safe and adhering to rules
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs

Safety and Company Policies:

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support the team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
