Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Oversee daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and train engineering staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure engineering outputs meet industry standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams and other departments to align project objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or engineering methods to improve operations.
  • Lead investigations into technical failures and devise corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Safety and Company Policies:

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support the team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
