We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales and Events team as an Event Executive. You will be part of the Marriott family, coordinating with the customer and Hotel departments to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of Hotel events. Main Duties-

  • Coordinates and communicates verbally and in writing with customer (internal and external) regarding event details.
  • Follows up with customer post-event.
  • Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event).
  • Makes presence known to customer at all times during this process.
  • Stays available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.
  • Oversees customer experiences from file turnover through the post event phase until turnover back to sales.
  • Identifies operational challenges associated with their group and works with the hotel staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.

What do you need to apply?

Experience in the event management or related professional area is essential. You do not have to have any specific qualifications in order to apply, but it is desirable if you have experience within hospitality.  We look for enthusiasm, ability to adapt, excellent customer service skills and flexibility.
