Description

As a Night Auditor at Breadsall Priory, you will play a key role in both administrative duties and guest service. The position is responsible for completing end-of-day reporting tasks while also ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and appreciated.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backups, and rolling the date
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit transactions
  • Print contingency lists to maintain accurate records of all guests in case of emergency
  • Operate the telephone switchboard, including handling wake-up call requests
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
  • Deliver excellent guest service by understanding needs, recommending suitable services, and building guest loyalty to Marriott
  • Ensure the accuracy and completion of folios, room changes, and credit approvals
  • Provide a quick, efficient, and friendly check-in and departure experience
  • Comply with cash handling and credit policies and procedures
  • Complete nightly checklist tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Provide information to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, hours of operation, room locations, and rates
  • Follow room selling strategies, cancellation policies, and walk procedures
  • Handle messages and enquiries via the switchboard promptly and professionally
  • Be fully aware of Accident Reporting, Maintenance Fault, and Fire Safety procedures
