Description

At the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, we go beyond service — we create personalised, elevated experiences for our most valued guests. As an F&B Associate, you’ll play a flexible role within our Food & Beverage team, supporting a variety of outlets across the hotel, with a primary focus on our Executive Lounge.

This is a part-time role (20 hours over 4 working days), with evening shifts typically scheduled from 4:30pm – 10:00pm.  

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional hospitality to our Executive guests and Elite Marriott Bonvoy members, ensuring a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience within the lounge, while also supporting other F&B areas as required.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, with a personalised approach for Executive and Elite members
  • Deliver attentive food and beverage service throughout your shift
  • Build rapport with guests, anticipating needs and ensuring a high-quality experience
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming lounge and service areas
  • Ensure food presentation and service standards are consistently high
  • Communicate dietary requirements and guest preferences clearly to the kitchen
  • Handle guest queries confidently and professionally
  • Process payments where required using MICROS or similar POS systems
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and responsible service standards
  • Support stock control, replenishment, and end-of-shift duties
  • Work flexibly across other Food & Beverage outlets when required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and reliable approach to work
  • Good attention to detail and presentation
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
