As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will find yourself right in the heart of things. You will support Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping team which includes housekeepers, public area cleaners and linen room associates. A true “roll up your sleeve” role, you will do whatever it takes for your team to succeed and create a one of kind experience. When a guest walks into any of our rooms – imagine that first look around they take. Followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived to their home away from home. You will be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within budgeted guidelines.
Our Ideal Candidate:
You will have experience in a similar role or are a successful housekeeping supervisor looking for their next step to develop their career. Experience in a hotel environment along with experience in coaching and developing team members, delivering exceptional customer experiences are preferred. You will have a warm people orientated demeanour, a gift for paying attention to the smallest details and have a positive outlook and outgoing personality.

• Support the management of daily housekeeping operations,
ensuring procedures, standards, and hotel policies are consistently followed.
• Assist in supervising, training, and supporting housekeeping
associates to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest
service.
• Empower and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest
experiences and excellent customer service.
• Recognise repeat guests and support the delivery of their
preferences and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally,
resolving housekeeping-related concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across guest
rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure brand standards are
maintained.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene procedures to
maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.
• Anticipate guest needs and support the team in delivering an
exceptional, above-and-beyond guest experience.
• Assist with stock control, inventory management, and ordering
housekeeping supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for improvement based on guest feedback
and support initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to coordinate guest
requests and ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations.
• Support room inspections and quality checks to ensure guest rooms
meet cleanliness and presentation standards before arrival.
