Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Engineering and related departments.
  • Assists in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
  • Keeps equipment maintained and operating at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
  • Establishes and manages an effective rooms’ maintenance program.
  • Supervises distribution of repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion.
  • Helps ensure necessary permits and licenses for building and physical plant are obtained and kept current.
  • Maintains accurate logs and records as required.
  • Assists in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
  • Helps establish priorities for total hotel maintenance needs.
  • Effectively manages parts, supplies and equipment inventories that minimize downtime and maximize cash flow.
  • Assists in training other department associates in fire protection, safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department.

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support the team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
