We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Proactive) to join our team at London Heathrow Marriott. In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting and managing group, catering, and transient business opportunities for the Heathrow Market. You will actively up-sell each opportunity to maximize revenue while ensuring seamless handover for premium service delivery. Your efforts will help grow market share, strengthen corporate relationships, and achieve both personal and team revenue goals.

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively target, manage, and develop corporate clients across multiple segments.
  • Drive incremental business through prospecting, familiarisation visits, and hospitality events.
  • Prepare accurate contracts aligned with current pricing and market conditions.
  • Participate in corporate account teams and manage hotel-specific accounts as directed by the General Manager.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to identify key business areas and support budget performance.
  • Collaborate with above-property sales teams to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives with local recommendations and strategic pull-through.

Client Engagement & Marketing

  • Build strong relationships with business travel agents, booking agents, and corporate/leisure clients.
  • Organise client familiarisation visits and deliver information on hotel products and services.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate timely and accurate reports for hotel management and the wider company.
  • Apply analytical skills to identify trends and factors impacting future performance.

Team & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the team has the tools and knowledge to achieve goals.
  • Support RFP season and maintain compliance with brand standards and company policies.
  • Demonstrate awareness of Health, Hygiene, and Fire Life Safety procedures.
