Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon is seeking a highly motivated and service-driven Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver a seamless guest experience. This role is responsible for overseeing daily front office functions, ensuring exceptional service standards, and driving team performance in line with Marriott brand values.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the front office, including reception, guest services, and concierge
- Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver outstanding guest service
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, handling VIP arrivals and special requests
- Monitor room availability, rates, and occupancy in coordination with revenue management
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high satisfaction levels
- Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and performance management of the team
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure operational efficiency
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback
Requirements- Proven experience in a front office supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera or similar)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within Marriott or an international hotel brand
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Knowledge of revenue management principles
