Be part of something extraordinary. Join one of the world’s most respected hotel brands and take the next step in your hospitality career.

We’re looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager with energy, confidence, and a passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences. At the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, you'll help lead our Front Desk, Guest Relations, and Concierge teams, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from check-in to check-out.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love leading teams, and have a talent for balancing operational excellence with warm, personal service — we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Front Office Manager in the day-to-day running of front-of-house operations.
  • Ensuring every guest receives an exceptional welcome and experience during their stay.
  • Driving room revenue through upselling, smart forecasting, and yield management strategies.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a passionate front office team.
  • Managing rotas and labour planning to match business needs and budget targets.
  • Working with hotel systems (Opera, Marsha) to ensure smooth coordination between departments.
  • Taking responsibility for credit management, guest ledgers, and cash handling procedures.
  • Supporting hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures when needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a front office or supervisory hotel role.
  • A confident leader with strong communication and people skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to operations and guest service.
  • Good understanding of revenue, labour, and training practices.
  • Comfortable working with hotel systems (Opera, Marsha experience is a bonus).
  • Hospitality qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A flexible, reliable attitude and a passion for making guests feel at home.

Why work with us?

  • Be part of the Marriott family — one of the world’s most recognisable hotel brands.
  • Excellent career progression and training opportunities.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Discounts on hotel stays and food & beverage globally.
  • A supportive team culture where your ideas and contributions matter.
