At the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, every guest experience begins and ends with you. As our Concierge (Guest Arrival Expert), you'll be at the heart of the action—creating warm first impressions, offering tailored recommendations, and helping guests make the most of their stay in our vibrant city.

You’ll be the go-to person for all things local—whether that’s finding a last-minute table at a popular restaurant, giving insider tips on hidden gems, or arranging a seamless journey to the airport. Your attention to detail, genuine care, and natural curiosity will turn everyday interactions into lasting memories. It’s about more than answering questions—it’s about making guests feel seen, supported, and truly welcomed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver a warm, genuine welcome to every guest arriving at the hotel
• Provide knowledgeable and personalised recommendations on local attractions, events, and hotel facilities
• Assist with guest requests—transport, entertainment, reservations, special occasions, and more
• Maintain a pristine and welcoming lobby and Concierge Desk at all times
• Collaborate with front office colleagues to ensure seamless service from check-in to check-out
• Use your initiative to resolve issues, always putting the guest experience first
• Support new team members and promote a positive working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a concierge, guest services, or front desk role (hospitality or tourism)
• Strong local knowledge of Glasgow and surrounding areas—or a passion to learn fast!
• Excellent communication skills and a naturally confident, warm personality
• Ability to think on your feet, multitask, and work well independently or in a team
• Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
