  • Career Development: Opportunities for career growth and internal transfers within Marriott's global network.
  • Training and Development: Access to training programs to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Role purpose

To ensure effective and streamlined inventory management across the hotel, while maximising additional revenue opportunities through proactive upselling. The role will work closely with the Rooms Division Manager, Director of Commercial and on-property Events Team to optimise inventory, identify revenue opportunities and support the delivery of commercial objectives.

Key accountabilities

  • Handle telephone, email, web and third-party accommodation enquiries within agreed response and service standards.
  • Manage third party wholesaler allocations weekly to ensure we maximize revenue from these streams.
  • Work with the revenue manager and rooms division manager to amend hotel inventory via internal platforms.
  • Entering rooming lists and making corporate transient reservations.
  • Creation of hotel rate programmes via appropriate platforms.
  • Convert enquiries by explaining room types, packages and the wider St Pierre experience and matching the offer to guest needs.
  • Apply approved rates, restrictions, packages, payment terms and inventory controls accurately, escalating exceptions appropriately.
  • Maximise booking value through relevant upselling of upgraded rooms, dining, golf, leisure and celebration enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate reservations, profiles, preferences, notes, traces, deposits and payment details within the PMS and connected systems.
  • Support group rooming lists, allocations, cut-off dates, pickup reporting and billing instructions with the relevant event executive.
  • Follow up incomplete, provisional and declined enquiries to recover business.
  • Communicate VIPs, accessibility needs, celebrations and special requests clearly to operational departments.
  • Support rate-loading checks, competitor observations and pace reporting.
  • Protect guest and payment data and comply with GDPR, PCI, brand and company standards.

Knowledge, experience and behaviours

·    Reservations, front-office, sales or customer-service experience, preferably in hospitality.
·    Confident, persuasive and hospitable telephone and written communication.
·    Strong accuracy, organisation and commercial awareness.
·    PMS and online distribution experience is desirable.
·    Able to work flexibly across peak periods.

Shared service and compliance responsibilities

·    Act as a positive ambassador for St Pierre, demonstrating professional, inclusive and guest-focused behaviour.
·    Work collaboratively across departments, raise risks early and take ownership of agreed solutions.
·    Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies, brand standards, data protection, payment security and all relevant health and safety obligations.
