We have an exciting opportunity in our Front Office team as a Front Office Host (Nights) where you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will be part of the team who are the face of our hotel during overnight hours, promoting a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
The Role
· Completing end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts and running night audit backup
· Processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, cheque, debit and credit cards
· Selling rooms to guests without prior reservations based on availability
· Operating telephone switchboard station, processing requests for wake-up calls and advising guests of any messages
· Resolving any potential guest complaints and queries to full satisfaction
What do you need to apply?
We are looking for a confident and customer-focused Front Office Host who excels in a night shift environment and has experience within a front office or guest-facing role within hospitality. With a positive and enthusiastic attitude, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm, professional and approachable. You will need to be comfortable with working night shifts.
