Do you enjoy variety, working with people and being part of a team that makes things happen? We’re looking for a Guest Services Associate to help deliver a great experience for guests across the hotel.
This is a hands-on role where no two shifts will look quite the same. You could be welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, serving food and drinks, supporting an event or helping a guest with a special request. Wherever you’re needed, you’ll bring a friendly approach and a commitment to providing excellent service.
What you’ll be doing
Welcome guests and provide warm, professional service throughout their stay.
Support check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest accounts and payments.
Respond to guest questions and requests, resolve concerns and offer helpful local recommendations.
Recognise Marriott Bonvoy members, deliver their benefits and invite guests to join.
Serve food and drinks, take orders and help maintain clean, welcoming dining areas.
Support meetings and events with set-up, service and guest assistance.
Recommend rooms, upgrades, dining and other hotel services where appropriate.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to keep the day running smoothly.
Follow hotel procedures for cash handling, food safety, allergens, responsible alcohol service and guest security.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, adaptable and happy to help wherever the team needs them.
You’ll ideally have:
A genuine interest in hospitality and looking after guests.
Excellent communication skills and a confident, approachable manner.
The ability to stay organised and positive during busy shifts.
A team-focused attitude and willingness to learn different areas of the hotel.
Good attention to detail when handling orders, bookings and payments.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience, although a great attitude matters just as much.
What’s in it for you
In addition to a competitive salary and investment in your personal development, you’ll have access to a range of perks and discounts, including:
Free meals on duty: Enjoy complimentary meals while at work.
Uniform provided: We’ll supply your uniform.
Explore discounts: Access discounts on hotel stays and food and drink at Marriott properties across 140 countries.
Pension scheme: Participate in The People’s Pension.
Employee Assistance Programme: Access free, confidential support with challenges including finances, stress and health.
If you like meeting new people, learning new skills and having plenty of variety in your day, we’d love to hear from you!
