JOB SUMMARY

The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Night Supervisor to join the Front Desk team!

We are looking for an enthusiastic Night Supervisor wanting to support the smooth operation of the Front Desk during nighttime hours and play a key role in ensuring exceptional service for every guest at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

As the Night Supervisor you will…

  • Provide warm, professional, and efficient service to all guests.
  • Oversee check‑in, check‑out, guest accounts, reservations, and nightly front‑desk operations.
  • Assist with guest enquiries, handle internal and external calls, and ensure all guests feel welcomed and cared for.
  • Support the Night Manager by guiding the Night Team, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and ensuring smooth overnight operations.
  • Represent the hotel with confidence, friendliness, and professionalism, consistently demonstrating the Marriott values and brand standards.

A successful Night Supervisor is someone who is…

  • A warm, people-oriented demeanour
  • A team-first attitude
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Knowledge of Opera is preferred but not essential
  • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours
  • Ensures exceptional customer service
  • Proactively meets the needs of the hotel customers
