The Role

As a Hotel Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, leak investigations, and water-efficiency improvements throughout the hotel. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing repairs and general maintenance across the hotel.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external water leaks.
  • Repair and maintain water-wasting appliances, including toilets, pipework, valves, taps, and overflows.
  • Install water-saving fixtures and fittings to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct water efficiency audits, recording water pressure and flow rates.

  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with hotel departments to minimise disruption while maintenance work is carried out.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support hotel refurbishment projects and the installation of new plumbing systems and equipment.

Skills & Requirements

  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a plumbing or maintenance role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence using IT systems to complete maintenance records and reports.
  • Ability to carry out physical work safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage your workload.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing water-saving solutions.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
  • Experience within a hotel environment or commercial plumbing setting would be advantageous.

What we offer

  • Complimentary Leisure Club Membership.
  • Global hotel discounts for you, friends & family.
  • Access to Benefit Hub for unlimited deals from retailers to restaurants & more.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours, 5 days per week with a mix of early and late shifts, including weekends.
