Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the team on nights and take overall responsibility for the hotel overnight, ensuring the safety and security of guests and associates
  • Complete regular walkrounds to ensure the building is secure and action any issues that arise
  • To ensure complete familiarization with all fire instructions and operate evacuation procedures when required in the event of a fire
  • Ensure that the end of day reports to close the days business results are completed
  • Process guest check-ins, assigning rooms and activating room keys
  • Answer, respond to and process all guest calls, messages, questions or concerns
  • Process check-outs and resolving any disputed charges
  • Effective rostering and control of holidays
  • Effective management of key controls
