Description

See where your journey can take you. At Marriott, we believe in seizing opportunities and making your own adventure. A world of opportunity awaits with every guest you meet – and you never know who might show up next. That big world also extends to our global, diverse family of associates. Like most families, we’re a group of unique individuals who bring different strengths, styles, personalities and interests to the table. And this makes every single day a new discovery. So, we ask, where will your journey take you?

We require a Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and assist in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.  This role is 24 hours per week over 3 days.

What you’ll do

  • Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms and assigned areas in accordance with Marriott standards.
  • Ensure guest rooms are presented to an exceptional standard of cleanliness, comfort and appearance.
  • Replenish guest amenities, towels and supplies as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages or missing items to the relevant department.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for guests and daily operations run smoothly.
  • Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.

What we’re looking for

  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • An organised and reliable approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider Housekeeping team.
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is desirable but not essential.

The impact you’ll make

As a Room Attendant, you play an essential role in creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest. You take pride in ensuring that each room is clean, fresh and prepared to the highest standards. Your attention to detail, efficiency and commitment to service make a real difference to our guests’ stays.

Whether it’s ensuring a perfectly made bed, replenishing amenities or responding to a guest’s request, you understand that the smallest details can make the biggest impression. When you shine, our guests feel right at home.
