BUSINESS CONTROLLER 

Join our dynamic team at Meliá White House Hotel as a Business Controller, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and financial performance across a portfolio of hotels. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategic insight with hands-on support, ensuring our business units operate efficiently, profitably, and in full alignment with corporate standards.

**Salary package: we're offering a competitive salary to attract candidates of the right experience and calibre. 10% variable annual bonus and attractive benefits package** 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Act as a strategic partner to Hotel Managers and operational leaders, providing financial insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in Administration, Accounting, and Dry Storage across assigned hotels.
  • Lead and support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal audits, cash control, and cost optimization initiatives to maintain financial integrity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and support transactional processes including payment collections, account postings, and credit management.
  • Oversee the implementation of administrative tools and processes, ensuring consistency and operational excellence across business units.
  • Manage documentation including contracts, lease invoicing, and compliance with legal and financial obligations.
  • Support talent development within the department, promoting HR tools, wellness programs, and team engagement.
  • Contribute to enhancing the guest experience by aligning financial operations with brand standards and service excellence.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, P&L analysis, and budgeting 
  • Proficient in SAP, PMS systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and driving improvements
