What we're looking for:

  • Passionate Leader: An established Operations Manager/Director with at least 3+ years in senior hotel management. Ideally experienced working in a multi-layered stakeholder environment (brand, owners, management company).
  • Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of hotel operations, including Rooms, F&B, and Events.
  • Commercial and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving financial targets.
  • Inspirational Leadership: A proven ability to mentor and motivate high-performing teams, ensuring every detail contributes to the hotel's success.
  • Health and Safety Expertise: Demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge and awareness, ensuring the well-being of both guests and team members.
  • Guest-Centric Mindset: Passion for enhancing guest experiences and driving satisfaction scores.
  • Flexibility: Have a flexible schedule, including a willingness to work weekends when required, ensuring a constant on-site presence for key events.

Example key responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of exceptional service and ensure every guest leaves with memorable experiences.
  • Inspire and lead teams to success with ongoing mentorship and development to department heads to ensure alignment with hotel and brand standards
  • Analyse performance metrics, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with brand and management company standards.
  • Presence on the floor at key times to oversee and observe service excellence. Ensuring all opportunities to maximise profitability are being explored.
  • Support the General Manager: Act as a key advisor, driving operational strategies to meet and exceed financial and guest satisfaction goals.
