  • Previous generalist HR experience. Well-rounded in end-to-end human resources support.
  • Enjoys recruitment and is experienced with large scale recruitment and onboarding.
  • Knowledge of employment law and general HR relations. Experienced in an HR Advisory position.

Day in the life of:

As the Group Human Resources Executive, you will be working in a generalist capacity supporting the group with the end-to-end employee lifecycle including all transactional HR responsibilities. Your day will be varied covering a range of activities. You will act as the first point of contact for HR support, advisory and guidance.

This is a hybrid working role, you will be required to be flexible to work across all locations within the group. Working cohesively with the General Managers across the group, Cluster HR Manager and Group HR Manager. You will need to be a highly organised, structured and action driven individual who is able to communicate well and effectively manage expectations.

The Group HR Executive will ultimately aid the business in its key HR objectives which are:

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain the best talent.
  • Maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
  • Provide the training and skills necessary for our team members to succeed.
  • Establish a clear path of long term professional development for team members.

Example key responsibilities:

Recruitment activities such as:

  • Drafting job adverts and profiles
  • Job posting across many different platforms
  • Pre-screening and interviewing candidates
  • Offers of employment
  • Prestart paperwork & coordinator
  • Support the Company in its efforts to be recognised and positioned as a desirable, reputable, and respectable employer of choice.

Onboarding activities such as:

  • Reviewing contractual documents to ensure correct
  • Induction days
  • Training coordination
  • Uniform and presentation standards

Learning and Development

  • Construction and coordinator of team member training
  • Auditing, tracking, and supporting completion levels of required training
  • Supporting managers to maintain consistent performance reviews and 1:1’s with their team

HR Relations activities such as:

  • HR advisory
  • Policy interpretation and application. Ensuring all informal and formal procedures are professional and comprehensive
  • Advising and coordinating disciplinary, grievance and query-based tasks
  • Absence management
  • Sharing best practice approaches and innovative HR practices.

HR Compliance activities such as:

  • Maintaining and auditing of online employee files and T&C’s on HRIS
  • Upkeep with/of HRIS and SharePoint
