The Role
We’re looking for a commercially-minded Sales & Events Manager to drive revenue, build relationships, and deliver standout events at The NICI Newquay. You will play a central role in positioning the hotel as a go-to destination for weddings, corporate events, and lifestyle experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales strategy for events, weddings, group bookings, and corporate partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and partners
Work closely with Operations, F&B, and Marketing to ensure flawless event execution
Develop innovative event concepts aligned with The NICI brand
Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting for the events department
Represent The NICI Newquay at trade shows, networking events, and in-market initiatives
About You
Experience in hospitality sales, events management, or luxury hotel pre-opening sales
Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven
Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Passion for creating unique, memorable experiences for clients and guests
