About Us

The Nici Hotel is a luxury coastal hotel offering stylish accommodation, exceptional dining, and world-class guest experiences. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Assistant Financial Controller to support the finance department in delivering accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality finance experience who is looking to grow their career within a dynamic luxury hotel environment.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies
• Support payroll and cost control procedures
• Work closely with department heads to monitor operational performance and costs
• Assist with year-end accounts and external audits

• Previous experience in a finance role within hospitality, hotels, or leisure
• Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
