Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager who wants to make a difference to join our team at Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of the hotel’s sales strategy, driving revenue and building strong relationships with clients. As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in achieving hotel targets, enhancing brand visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service.

 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing corporate, leisure, and city wide event clients.
  • Leads by example in sales excellence, fosters a proactive sales driven culture

Networking and conducting local market research to identify new business opportunities 

  • Collaborate with the revenue & marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the local market.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, highlighting progress and areas for growth.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless customer experiences and high satisfaction levels.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on hotel sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Knowledge of hotel sales and revenue management systems.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
