General Manager Vacancy
The Admiralty, Trafalgar Square
We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to take the reins of this outstanding pub, The Admiralty, in Trafalgar Square.
The Admiralty reopened after a full refit in April 2023, and holds the honour of being the most central pub in London and the only pub in Trafalgar Square.
Acquired in 2014, The Admiralty has a vast range of customers, from worldwide tourists, regular London drinkers, to corporate meetings, after work office crowd, events and more. The Admiralty really is a lot of things to a lot of people however what remains consistent is great food, and a buzzing atmosphere, we need a leader who can bring this together and turn this into a wonderful experience.
As well as a steady flow of business throughout the days and week, The Admiralty can be highly impacted by external events such as the marathon and other Central London high footfall events throughout the year.
The next General Manager will be a strong leader who has experience in managing large teams and pre-booked business. The Admiralty operates over 3 floors and has multiple revenue streams. With annual sales of over £4million someone who can delegate, manage other senior managers, set high standards and get their ‘aces in places’ is key to their success.
What can we offer you?
Could you write the next chapter of our story?
As our General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of the pub.
Ultimately, the smiles on faces, the return visits and the positive reviews are all down to you - making this one of the most rewarding jobs in the hospitality business.
For any General Manager, Fuller’s is a special company to work for. You’ll get lots of help and support from our Support Office when you need it, but also plenty of encouragement to put your own spin on the pub.
You can take plenty of pride in the role too, knowing that Fuller’s ales, food and service has a reputation as some of the very best in the business.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, making the right decisions to keep customers pouring through the doors. Importantly though, you’ll be a people-person too - mindful that to many, you’re still a good old-fashioned ‘Landlord’.
And of course, you’ll have a team to look after. So, we’re looking for somebody with true leadership qualities – able to keep both the customers and the team smiling.
