Salary: up to £35,000

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Accountant who’d like to have a varied role and be an integral part of a growing business.

We’re looking for someone with:

·       Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field

·       Basic understanding of accounting principles

·       Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero, ApprovalMax, Pleo, Datamolino)

·       Honesty, integrity and reliability

·       Organisational and communication skills

·       Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Discreet, understanding the nature of confidential company information

·       Team player

What you’ll get up to:

·       Act as the main finance contact for General Managers

·       Manage purchase ledger, including invoice processing and payment runs

·       Reconcile bank statements daily and ensure accurate Trial Balance postings

·       Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations

·       Ensure accurate VAT returns, financial reports, and compliance with company policies

·       Support payroll review, expense management, and efficiency improvements

·       Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis

·       Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and manage finance system setup for new team members
