We are looking for talented, passionate, and committed professionals with several years of restaurant service experience to join our team!
Ideal candidates will have a positive and outgoing attitude with an ability to speak confidently about our restaurant, food, and wine. In addition, you are a dedicated hospitality professional that takes pride in your work, is a team player, and takes safety and sanitation measures seriously.
Position Description
The Server’s primary responsibility is to serve guests in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction. This is achieved by:
Engaging with guests and anticipating needs while guiding their experience
Having knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
Having knowledge of beverage lists and promotion
Informing guests of specials and menu changes
Being ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise
Assembling table and place settings to ensure that they are always clean, safe, and orderly
Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Required Experience
Experience in high-volume restaurants (2+ years Manhattan experience preferred)
Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally
Observant and thorough
Responsible and punctual
Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
