Construction Manager – Luxury Spa & Hospitality Project | London
Sonara is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a luxury spa and hospitality project in London.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a Construction Manager with a strong background in hospitality construction, luxury developments, or complex commercial projects, who is confident taking ownership of site operations and delivering to the highest standards.
Role Overview
As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and senior stakeholders throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities
- Coordinate and oversee the main contractor and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and site standards
- Maintain control of programme, quality, and construction sequencing
- Work closely with the Project Manager and consultant team
- Proactively identify and resolve construction risks, delays, or site issues
- Provide clear and regular progress updates to senior stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Construction Manager role
- Background in hospitality, luxury, commercial, or complex construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, and site compliance
- Excellent contractor management and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven approach
