Job Purpose

We’re seeking a passionate Designer to join our Marketing team. In this role, you’ll support design efforts, creating and delivering impactful assets for our brand and its partners. As a brand guardian, you'll work closely with the Creative Design Lead to uphold and evolve the brand vision. You’ll collaborate with various departments to produce high-quality creative concepts and marketing collateral across all channels and products.

Outline of Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret briefs and concepts to create compelling and effective designs for social media, digital platforms, print materials, emails, learning resources, and more
  • Work confidently across digital and print mediums, eager to acquire new skills including digital editorial artworks, interactive tools, event collateral, social-first advertising, brand partnerships, and new content franchise logos
  • Create Canva templates to empower colleagues to design simple assets themselves, providing feedback and sense-checking where appropriate
  • Engage in brainstorming and creative sessions, managing design projects from initial concept through to completion
  • Utilise visual language to convey and enhance content messages
  • Collaborate with team members across the business to successfully launch projects
  • Integrate insights and data from the Marketing and Content teams into visual assets
  • Communicate with senior team members to gather and incorporate feedback
  • Present creative ideas effectively through engaging presentations
  • Manage the upload of images and assets to various CMS platforms as part of the workflow

General Responsibilities:

  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably directed by management
  • Adhere to company practices, policies and procedures
  • Ensure good communication with all colleagues, ELT and SLT

 Person Specification:

  • Previous design experience essential
  • Highly creative with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
  • Video editing skills are desirable
  • Familiar with Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Versatile design skills for digital, print, and social media, with a strong grasp of best practices
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, editorial design, collage work, and art direction
  • Passionate about design with up-to-date knowledge of trends and popular culture
  • Relevant industry experience or a standout portfolio showcasing graphic design and/or production work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Figma, After Effects, and Unbounce is a plus
  • Positive team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Organised and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail with a high standard of work
  • Capable of making decisions and handling feedback from senior creatives
