Summary/Objective

 

Working closely with the Sr. Sales Manager. This role requires a positive attitude and experience in a fast-paced environment with a sales focus, a large breadth of contacts in the city, event planning experience, and an understanding of bringing community together.

 

Essential Functions

·       Collaborates on brainstorms surrounding member experience and feedback

·       Keeps Pipeline updated from incoming leads to qualified leads

·       Experience in SalesForce, Asana, Slack, and Team is HIGHLY encouraged

·       Provides updated list of potential prospecting events each month

·       Helps create target list for VIP Members and based on women's groups in LA 

·       Responsible for Digital Leads digital outreach and scheduling

·       Ensures pipeline is updated once a lead is closed

·       Has a proven track record of hitting targets, a responsible and consistent approach to following up with leads and members, and overcoming objections when necessary

·       Is determined to go above and beyond in relationship building with leads and members

·       Heavy focus on retention and member check in’s to ensure renewals.

·       Maintain & develop new accounts 

·       Making “pitches” to win new business 

·       Manage, renew and renegotiate terms with existing clients 

·       Bring on new business and hitting sales quotas with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. 

·       The ability to easily build rapport with a wide variety of people, a confident and persistent manner, as well as knack for recognizing customer opportunities. 

·       Stay up to date on service and events to promote 

·       Present client ideas, information, and needs to Sr. Sales Manager, present information in any relevant meeting or review 

·       Present Club Membership & Corporate Account deals to prospective clients. 

·       To be fully aware of promotional activities and sales targets.  

·       To attend weekly sales meetings (as required) to provide relevant information pertaining to membership and marketing.  

·       To generate new businesses by creating awareness in the club with brand partnerships, memberships and complete outreach work. 

·       To support the Senior Sales Manager in delivery of systems and initiatives aimed at improving and maintaining customer retention. 

·       Assist in campaigns that are designed to profile target areas and groups. 

 

REQUIREMENTS  

·       2-4 years’ experience in a fast-paced sale -focused role in a company    with a membership-driven revenue model, community organization, and/or within hospitality  

·       Strong negotiation skills and ability to present effectively to close the deal  

·       Ability to build a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding sales goals  

·       Dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, SalesForce etc.  

·       Proven team player with positive attitude and self-starter mentality 

·       Exceptional written and oral communication skills 

·       Ability to work non-traditional hours (events at the club, etc.) 

·       College degree

This is a full-time, exempt position that regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
